Medieval Society had a highly structured hierarchy of Titles & Honours. The SCA has a similar system except that Titles & Honours are earned rather than inherited.

Order of the Golden Link of Montengarde
This is awarded to those who have given service to the Barony and who are deserving of recognition for their efforts.
Service can take many forms, be it as part of an event team, serving in an office, or just being very helpful in easing the labor of others.
Order of the Sable Cinquefoil of Montengarde
This is awarded to those whose creative work in Montengarde has brought renown to the Barony and furthered Arts and Science among the populace.
This includes (but is not limited to) crafting, research, largesse creation, and aiding others through teaching of the Arts & Sciences.
Order of the Sable Dragon of Montengarde
The Order is comprised of those that have served one or more terms as a Champion of the Barony in a martial discipline:
Dragonblade – Current Rapier Champion
Dragonblinder – Current Archery Champion
Dragonslayer – Current Armoured Combat Champion
Order of the Ordine de Venusta
The Order is comprised of those that have served one or more terms as a Champion of the Barony in an arts discipline. Named in honor of our founding Baroness, Laurel Venustas di Firenze
Emerald Rose – Current A&S Champion
Wild Rose – Current Bardic Champion
Order of the Horn & Sword
As the Children of the Minotaur pride themselves on their Martial prowess and their accomplishments on the fields of battle and in celebration of the leadership of Sir Edward Ross, founding Baron of Montengarde, it is ordered that an honour be created in recognition of his dedication to that warrior spirit which has typified this Barony since its founding as a Shire.
The Baronial Order of the Horn & Sword is to be bestowed upon those individuals whose martial actions on the field best exemplify the pursuit of honour and glory in the name of the Barony of Montengarde and whose actions and leadership we as the populace can take pride in.
Order of the Emissary of the Minotaur’s Chair
Order Created by Kraig and Una, 9th Baron & Baroness of Montengarde.
This award recognizes outstanding efforts to foster the exchange of culture and idea’s between Montengarde and other shires, baronies, principalities, and kingdoms.
Order of the Torse and Torch
Created by Thorwulf and Sine, 6th Baron & Baroness of Montengarde. Originally known as the Torse of the Minotaur.
Given for excellence in research and persona development.
Order of Saint Ferdinand’s Heart
There are those whose Chivalry issues from the heart like water from a well-spring and whose deeds of courtesy are given without thought of recognition or reward.
In the thirty first year of our Society and in the seventeenth year of the Minotaur, Thorwulf and Sapphira, Baron and Baroness of Montengarde, created the Order of the Heart of the Minotaur in recognition of those individuals whose chivalry and gallantry shine as beacons to us all.
The honour to be bestowed upon those worthy of merit based upon the recommendations of the populace of Montengarde.
Order of the Golden Hedgehog
Order Created by Kraig and Una, 9th Baron & Baroness of Montengarde. Originally known as the Light of the Labyrinth.
This award recognizes the outstanding contributions of Montengarde’s youth in all areas and the hope they hold for the future of our game.
Order of the Children of Saint Ferdinand
Given to those who have enriched our Barony and are moving beyond our borders. It is to remind us and all those who have gone before that although they may be distant in body, they will always be Minotaurs at heart.
Order of the Brass of the Minotaur
The uniqueness of this award is such that traditionally it has only been given out once per reign.
The Brass of the Minotaur recognizes individuals for demonstrations of extreme tenacity and a drive to go the extra mile against overwhelming odds for the betterment of our game.

Order of the Horn & Bow
In the 39th Year of the Minotaur (53rd Year of Our Society), Peter Wise Baron and Brangwayn Elegant Baroness created the Order of the Horn and Bow to recognize the greatness to be found in the Archers of Montengarde
The Baronial Order of the Horn & Bow is to be bestowed upon those individuals whose actions on the field of archery, be it target or on the war field, exemplify the pursuit of honour and glory in the name of the Barony of Montengarde and whose actions and leadership we as the populace can take pride in.
Order of the Sable Drum
Peter Wise Baron and Brangwayn Elegant Baroness created the Order of the Sable Drum to recognize the artistry and performing skills of the bards that have enriched Montengarde.
Order of the White Hat
In the 53rd Year of the Society, Peter and Brangwayn created the Order to recognize outstanding hospitality offered by an individual in the Barony of Montengarde.
Order of the Mountain of Montengarde
In the 53rd Year of the Society, Peter and Brangwayn created the Order to recognize long term service by an individual to the Barony of Montengarde.
Order of the Standard Bearer
In preparation for war, the Baron and Baroness will often appoint one who will bear the baronial war banner upon the field.
